CLAY LEBHAR Clay Lebhar joined CBA in 2002 with a broad level of expertise gained in over twenty years in capital markets involving responsibility for over $5 billion of principal transactions in structured mortgage finance and real estate. Prior to joining CBA, Clay was a Managing Director at Prudential Securities where he served, at various times since 1987, as group head of the Real Estate Investment Banking and Financial Services Group as well as the Real Estate Debt Capital Group. In 1997 and 1998, Clay was the President and CEO of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. Previously, Clay served as a Vice President in Mortgage Finance at First Boston and in the Financial Institutions Group at Dean Witter Reynolds. Clay received his MBA in 1980 at the Columbia University Business School with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors and his BS in 1974 at Tufts University.
Joe Orefice joined CBA in 1995 and is a senior deal manager responsible for analyzing, underwriting, negotiating and executing both debt and equity investments. Joe is also responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of CBA's portfolio. Prior to joining CBA, Joe served as an Asset Manager at Dorman & Wilson, a commercial correspondent and loan servicing company. He was responsible for the management of a $2 billion mortgage portfolio for insurance companies including Aetna, Cigna, New England and Sun America. Previously, Joe was an Asset Administrator for a $3 billion mortgage portfolio at Travelers Insurance. During his six years at Travelers, Joe participated in workouts, foreclosures, and group loan sales. He was also responsible for designing the software and procedures used in Travelers' national cash management activities. Joe is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a NASD Registered Representative. He graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut in 1991.
Richard joined CBA in 1999 and works on the valuation of potential investments as well as managing various aspects of existing investments. Prior to joining CBA, Richard was employed by Jones Lang LaSalle as the General Manager of two separate Manhattan office towers. In this capacity, Richard was responsible for the management and leasing of over 600,000 square feet of office and retail space, including direct responsibility for profit and loss of both assets. Richard has extensive real estate experience, having spent several years as both a design engineer and construction manager. Richard is a licensed Professional Engineer, graduated with a BS from Union College in 1991, holds a 1996 MBA from the University of Connecticut and a 1999 MS in Real Estate Investment and Development from New York University.
Joseph joined CBA in 2004 and provides analytical support for existing transactions. He is also responsible for underwriting new debt and equity investment opportunities. Prior to joining CBA, Joseph served as an Associate at Lepercq de Neuflize, an investment banking firm located in midtown New York City. While at Lepercq, Joseph engaged in private placements of debt and equity, M&A advisory assignments, and real estate development projects with clients in the hospitality, travel and tourism, and real estate industries. Joseph also has prior work experience at firms including JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, and W&M Properties. Joseph received a BA in Economics from New York University in 1998 and graduated "with distinction" from the NYU Real Estate Institute with a MS in Real Estate Finance and Investment in 2004. |
